MPCF Scholarship in partnership with GBCF: Awarded to students with a GPA of greater than 3.0 based on perseverance to overcome obstacles in pursuit of education.

One of our Recipients: Jessica is in the final semester of the Community Worker program, where she has earned a GPA of 3.98. She is dedicated to creating change in the lives of people, like herself, with HIV. This year she was a Member / Volunteer with the Positive Youth Outreach Advisory Committee, lead "Team Jessica", the #1 fundraising team in Toronto for the AIDS Walk for Life, sat on a panel on "Living with HIV" for 2nd year medical students at University of Toronto, and was a first year Peer Mentor for her program. She has been selected to participate in the UNESCO International Leadership Training Program this summer, and was also recently nominated to be the North American representative on the International Steering Committee for the International Committee of Women Living with HIV / AIDS.
