Adopt a Village School builds...Spring 2010 Community Reports for your assistance to both Haiti and Salabwek
Greetings Natasha and the Michael "Pinball" Clemons Foundation,
I would like to take the time to honour and thank you for all of your hard work and commitment to the work of Free The Children. As we celebrate our 15th Anniversary, we have taken the time to reflect on what we have been able to realize thanks to your ongoing support. To date, we have built more than 650 schools in Asia, Africa, Latin America and are providing education to more than 55,000 children every day in 16 countries. We have delivered 207,500 school and health kits to students around the world. We have provided health care, clean water and sanitation facilities to more than 1 million people, and established alternative income programs for marginalized women, helping more than 30,000 families. We have also been successful in shipping over $16 million worth of medical supplies to marginalized communities, to help improve overall health.
To show our continued appreciation, as well as my commitment to share regular updates on your projects, I am providing you with your attached Spring 2010 Community Reports for your assistance to both Haiti and Salabwek.
None of the above mentioned accomplishments would have been possible without your help! Your dedication motivates us at Free The Children to continue to work harder to break down the cycle of poverty. Through these projects, together the Michael "Pinball" Clemons Foundations and Free The Children will continue to reach thousands of community members and improve their overall quality of life.
